Direction B

Bright — white, with colour that commits.

A true white canvas. Instead of tinting everything, the day's one action becomes a single saturated block you cannot miss, and everything around it stays clean. Glass is used only where something is genuinely behind it. Same thirteen screens, same copy.

Happy comes from commitment, not decoration. One big colour block per screen carries the action; mint, coral and amber appear as accent pairs on chips, milestones and stats. The white does the work of making them sing.

The coach is a squircle tile with a ring, not a round badge — closer to a photo slot, and it reads as a person rather than a floating button.

Colour note. The block gradient runs periwinkle → violet and stays above 4.6:1 with white text throughout; coral and mint never carry white text, only dark ink on their tints. This still goes beyond the one-fill-per-screen rule in the brand colour standard, which would need relaxing for this direction.

Today

The one thing due is the colour block. Everything else on the screen is white and quiet, so there is never a question about where to look.

Guided session

In session the block recedes: the set is the only thing that matters, so the numbers get the colour and the screen goes quiet around them.

The coach thread

One tap from the coach tile. It invites and reflects, but never carries the instruction to act.

“Hi Sam — glad you're here. We'll keep this simple: one thing a day, and I'm right here whenever you need me.”

Most days this takes two minutes.
We'll tell you when there's something to do.

The one screen the app does not own. Here the glass sits on a real wallpaper, which is the only place it genuinely earns its keep.

The quiet third surface. Momentum is accumulation, never a streak that punishes a gap — the grid deepens in colour as the weeks fill in.
