Direction C

Clear — Aurora’s glass, on an almost-white canvas.

The frosted tray, buttons, cards and bubbles from Direction A, kept exactly as they were — but the colour field is pulled back to a whisper. Glass still needs something behind it to be glass, so a single soft bloom sits low on the screen, right where the tray and the ghost buttons are. Everything above it stays white.

Where the colour went. Out of the background and into two places per screen: the media plate inside the card, and the action itself. Chips, milestones and the streak grid keep their hues, so the app is still cheerful without the wash.

Why there is still a bloom. Frosted glass on flat white renders as flat white — there is nothing to refract. The bloom is held under 30% opacity and positioned in the lower third, so the tray, Message Ahmed and See your week read as real glass while the top of the screen stays clean.

Colour note. Gradients on actions and media still go beyond the one-fill-per-screen rule in the brand colour standard — less than Aurora, but the rule would still need relaxing.

Today

One thing to do on a clean white screen. The glass tray and the ghost buttons sit in the bloom at the bottom, which is what lets them read as frosted.

“Hi Sam — glad you're here. We'll keep this simple: one thing a day, and I'm right here whenever you need me.”

Most days this takes two minutes.
We'll tell you when there's something to do.

The app is closed most of the day, so the notification is the product surface. Glass reads best here — the lock screen is the one place the wallpaper is genuinely behind it.

Journey

The quiet third surface. Momentum is accumulation, never a streak that punishes a gap — so the grid reads as warmth, not pass/fail.
